Twin Engine Turboprop Charter in India

A twin engine turboprop gives you the best of both worlds. You get the range and comfort of a private jet in India, the ability to land at smaller airports that jets simply cannot reach, and pricing that works well for groups of five to nine people.

At Accretion Aviation, we operate four twin engine turboprops - the Piaggio Avanti, King Air C90, Super King Air B200 and Super King Air 350. Whether you need to fly across India for a corporate meeting or reach a remote airstrip in the Northeast, we have the right aircraft and the team to make it happen.

Why Choose a Twin Engine Turboprop?

There are a few good reasons why corporate travellers, government teams and private groups keep choosing twin engine turboprops over other aircraft.

You can land where jets cannot

Many airports across Northeast India, the Himalayas and the Andaman Islands have short runways that private jets cannot use. The King Air C90 needs just 2,275 feet of runway. That opens up destinations like Pasighat, Along and Deoghar that no other pressurised charter aircraft can reach.

It makes sense for groups

When you split the cost across six to nine people, a twin engine turboprop charter often works out cheaper per seat than last minute business class. And you get a private cabin, no delays and no shared terminals.

The cabin is comfortable

Every aircraft in our fleet is pressurised and cruises above 30,000 feet. That means you fly above most weather and arrive without the fatigue that shorter, bumpier flights tend to cause.

Two engines mean extra reassurance

On longer routes across India, having two engines matters. If one engine has an issue, the aircraft continues to fly and lands safely on the other. It is a level of redundancy that single engine aircraft simply do not offer.

You fly on your own schedule

No timetables, no shared cabins, no waiting for other passengers to board. You choose the departure time. Our team can have an aircraft ready on the same day in most cases.

How a Twin Engine Turboprop Charter Works

Booking a charter with Accretion Aviation is straightforward. Here is what happens from your first call to landing at your destination.

Get a quote

Call us, send a WhatsApp message or fill in the quote form on this page. Tell us your route, travel date and how many people are flying. We will get back to you with aircraft options and pricing within the hour.

We check your destination

Before we confirm anything, our operations team checks the destination airport. We look at runway length, handling facilities, slot availability and weather. If you need landing permits - which is common for Northeast India routes - we start that process straight away.

Confirmation and ground arrangement

Once the charter is confirmed, we assign a dedicated contact who manages your whole journey. That includes arrival coordination, lounge access where available and arranging ground transport at your destination.

Departure day

Arrive 30 to 45 minutes before departure. Your crew will be ready. There are no queues, no boarding gates and no shared lounges on most private charter departures.

Your flight

The cabin is yours. Depending on the aircraft you have chosen, you have seating for five to nine passengers in a comfortable, air conditioned, pressurised environment. The crew is on hand throughout.

Arrival

Our ground team will be ready when you land. Transfers, connections, accommodation - whatever you need at the other end, we handle it before the wheels even touch down.

How Safe Is a Twin Engine Turboprop Charter?

Very safe. Twin engine turboprops are some of the most tested aircraft in aviation. Every flight we operate meets DGCA standards and runs under a fully approved Air Operator Certificate.

Two engines, one backup

Having two engines is not just about performance - it is about peace of mind. If one engine has an issue mid flight, the aircraft keeps flying on the second and lands safely. That redundancy matters on longer or more remote routes.

Experienced, licensed crew

Every Accretion Aviation flight is flown by a licensed pilot who is current on that specific aircraft type. Our crew go through regular simulator checks, medical assessments and proficiency reviews in line with DGCA requirements.

We check every airstrip before you go

No charter is confirmed until our operations team has checked the destination. Runway length, surface condition, elevation, fuel availability and obstacle clearance are all reviewed. If we are not confident about an airstrip, we will tell you before you book.

Fully compliant with ATC and aviation regulations

All flights operate under Air Traffic Control coordination. For Northeast India routes and restricted airspace, required permits and clearances are in place before departure. Every passenger receives a safety briefing before takeoff.

About Our Twin Engine Turboprop Fleet

We operate four twin engine turboprops. Each one suits a different kind of trip, so you always fly in the right aircraft for your route and group size.

Piaggio Avanti

The Piaggio Avanti is the fastest turboprop in the world. It cruises at 390 knots, which is quicker than most light jets. The engines sit at the back of the aircraft in a pusher configuration, which keeps the cabin noticeably quieter than any other turboprop we operate. It seats up to 8 passengers and covers 1,500 nautical miles. Mumbai to Delhi takes under 70 minutes.

King Air C90

The King Air C90 is our specialist for short runway airports. It only needs 2,275 feet to land, which means it can reach places across Northeast India, the Himalayas and remote island airstrips that no other aircraft in our fleet can access. If you are travelling to Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Nagaland, Sikkim or Meghalaya with a group of up to five, this is likely the best aircraft for your trip.

Super King Air 350

The Super King Air 350 is the biggest and longest range aircraft in our twin engine fleet. It carries up to 9 passengers in a spacious pressurised cabin with standing headroom - something you rarely find in a turboprop. With a range of 1,806 nautical miles, it can fly from Delhi to Guwahati and back without stopping to refuel. At 35,000 feet, it flies above most weather for a smooth and predictable journey.

Super King Air B200

The Super King Air B200 is the most flexible aircraft in our fleet. It can use smaller airports that the King Air 350 cannot, while still covering serious distances across India at 35,000 feet. The King Air platform has logged over 62 million flight hours since 1964. It is one of the most trusted aircraft in general aviation and is used by corporate teams, governments and medical operators in over 100 countries.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a twin engine turboprop charter in India?

A twin engine turboprop charter is a private flight in a twin engine propeller aircraft. You get the full cabin to yourself, seating for 5 to 9 passengers, a pressurised environment and the ability to land at airstrips that private jets simply cannot use. It is a popular choice for corporate travel, government missions and private group trips across India.

How many passengers can fly on a twin engine turboprop charter?

It depends on the aircraft. The King Air C90 seats up to 5 passengers. The Piaggio Avanti and Super King Air B200 each seat up to 8. The Super King Air 350 accommodates up to 9 passengers in standard charter configuration.

How much does a twin engine turboprop charter cost in India?

Hourly rates typically range from around 1.8 lakh to 5 lakh rupees depending on the aircraft and route. A Mumbai to Delhi flight in a Super King Air B200 usually comes to between 9 and 12 lakh rupees all in. Contact our team for an exact quote for your specific route and travel date.

Can a twin engine turboprop land at smaller airports in India?

Yes. This is one of the biggest advantages of a turboprop over a jet. The King Air C90 needs only 2,275 feet of runway, giving it access to airstrips across Northeast India, the Himalayan region and remote island territories that commercial flights and private jets cannot reach.

Which aircraft is best for Northeast India routes?

For short runway airstrips like Pasighat, Along and Deoghar, the King Air C90 is the right choice. For larger groups flying into established airports like Guwahati, Imphal or Dibrugarh, the Super King Air B200 is the better option.

Is a twin engine turboprop charter safe?

Yes. Turboprops are among the most proven aircraft in aviation. The King Air platform alone has accumulated over 62 million flight hours globally. All Accretion Aviation flights are operated by licensed pilots, comply with DGCA regulations and fly under ATC coordination. Having two engines also means the aircraft can continue flying and land safely if one engine has an issue.

How far in advance do I need to book?

We accept bookings from 24 hours to 12 months in advance. For Northeast India routes that need landing permits, 48 to 72 hours notice is recommended. For standard routes across India, we have confirmed and flown charters within 3 hours of a first enquiry.

Does Accretion Aviation arrange ground transport at the destination?

Yes. Every charter includes full ground coordination. That covers airport transfers, onward transport and accommodation liaison if needed. For Northeast India missions, ground coordination is included as standard given the limited infrastructure at many of those destinations.

What is the difference between a turboprop and a private jet?

A turboprop uses engines to drive propellers. A jet uses pure thrust. Turboprops are more economical, need shorter runways and work well for routes up to around 1,800 nautical miles across India. Private jets offer higher speeds and suit routes where only large airports are available at both ends.
