By road, the journey takes 10 to 12 days through difficult mountain terrain, which makes it physically demanding for many devotees. Both packages begin and end at Sahastradhara Helipad in Dehradun. You arrive in Dehradun a day before your scheduled departure, and our team picks you up from the airport and transfers you to your hotel. In the evening, you attend a mandatory tour briefing where the team walks you through the itinerary, provides duffel bags for the yatra, and records each passenger's body weight for helicopter allocation. The luggage limit is 5 kg per person for the Char Dham helicopter package and 2 kg per person for the Do Dham helicopter package. The next morning, you are driven to Sahastradhara Helipad, where your helicopter yatra begins. At each dham, our ground team receives you at the helipad, handles hotel check-in, arranges car or palki transfers to the temple, and coordinates your VIP darshan. Once all darshans are complete, you fly back to Dehradun and are dropped at the airport.
The Char Dham yatra helicopter package covers all four sacred shrines: Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. Your first night is a complimentary stay in Dehradun with dinner and the next morning breakfast. From the next morning, you fly between each dham over five days, spending one night near each shrine. The route follows Dehradun to Yamunotri, then Gangotri, Kedarnath, Badrinath, and back to Dehradun. At Yamunotri, the temple is 6 km from the Kharsali helipad, so palki service is arranged for the trek. At Gangotri, you land at the Harsil helipad, and a car takes you 20 km to the Gangotri temple and back. At Kedarnath, a shuttle helicopter takes you from the base helipad at Sersi, Phata, or Guptkashi directly to the temple helipad. The package includes all helicopter transfers, hotel accommodation with meals at each dham, VIP darshan at all four temples, palki arrangement at Yamunotri, shuttle helicopter at Kedarnath, airport pickup and drop in Dehradun, and on-ground assistance throughout. This is suited for devotees who have limited time but want to complete darshan at both temples. Your first night is in Dehradun, followed by the helicopter yatra covering Kedarnath on day two and Badrinath on day three, with a return flight to Dehradun on day four. The shuttle helicopter at Kedarnath and car transfers at Badrinath are handled the same way as the Char Dham package. The package includes all helicopter transfers, hotel accommodation with meals, VIP darshan at Kedarnath and Badrinath, shuttle helicopter at Kedarnath, airport pickup and drop in Dehradun, and on-ground assistance throughout. The helicopters used on the Chardham circuit are operated by experienced pilots with extensive high altitude flying hours in the Garhwal Himalayas. Before each flight, weather conditions are monitored at every helipad along the route, and if visibility or wind conditions fall below safe limits, flights are rescheduled. Every passenger receives a safety briefing during the tour briefing session in Dehradun on the evening before departure.

Carry a valid government-issued photo ID such as Aadhaar, passport, or PAN card. Char Dham Yatra registration on the Uttarakhand government portal is mandatory and must be completed before the yatra.
Mountain weather can change quickly. If conditions are not suitable for flying, flights are held until it is safe to proceed. We recommend keeping a buffer day at the end of your schedule in case of weather-related adjustments.
The temples generally open in late April or early May and close in mid-November. Exact dates are announced each year by the temple committees.
Carry warm and waterproof clothing as the shrines are located between 3,000 and 3,500 metres above sea level. Waterproof trekking shoes, a light rain jacket, a warm cap, and gloves are recommended. Avoid wearing slippery footwear.
